先週より2年生に所属したチャーリー( ニュージーランド出身 ）、所属クラスは2-8(1学期間）となりました。2-8の製菓実習にも参加！和菓子の上生菓子、煉切の包餡練習とわらび餅を作って試食したそうです。
講師の和喜先生(御菓子処 天明堂 オーナーパティシエ）からくまモンの煉切のプレゼントもあったようです。これからの実習も楽しみ！
Charlie has belonged to class 2-8 since this week. He will enjoy spending time with 2-8 classmates during 1st semester. This week, he participated in confectionery practical training. He learned how to make Japanese sweets, called Wagashi. He made and tasted Nerikiri and Warabi-mochi. Wagashi master, Mr. gave him Kumamon’s Nerikiri for him.
部活動休憩中のユリア(from フィンランド)に遭遇しました。チームメイトと和気あいあいとお話ししているな〜と思いきや、よく見るとそれぞれユニフォームが違うではありませんか！日本での高校生活も8ヶ月が過ぎ、クラスや部活動の枠を超えてたくさんの友人ができているようです。慶誠高校での生活も残り1ヶ月と少し… 語学の勉強はもちろん、部活動にも一生懸命なユリアでした♪
Julia was taking a break during her club activities. She enjoyed chatting with her friends who are in different clubs. Almost 8 months have passed since she came to our school. It seems like she has made many friends.
4/27(金）歓迎遠足at グリーンランド
慶誠高校毎年の伝統行事に参加！留学生にとっては初のグリーンランド訪問。クラスメイトやチームメイトとたくさん乗り物に乗ったり、園内のフードに舌鼓を打ったりと、日頃とは違う日常を楽しむことができました。
All of the exchange students went to Green Land ( the amusement park ). It is Keisei High School’s annual traditional event! It was their first visit there. They rode a lots of rides and enjoyed the park’s food with classmates and teammates. They are looking forward to more school events!
「フェイバこっち、こっち！」とサポートしてくれる姿に感動！していた徳永先生(フェイバ担任）、田村先生（国際教育部部長）とパシャリ。
Not only cute smiles, we can jump high!
今週もたくさんの笑顔に溢れた1週間でした♪「パティシエコースがあるなんて！ましてや日本の高校に来て、まさか自分がお菓子作りをするなんて考えてもなかった！」とチャーリー。予想外のことが起こるから、人生って面白いのかもしれないですね。チーム留学生、これからも果敢にアクション＆チャレンジしていきます！！
Charlie said, ”Keisei has a patisserie course and I never imagined that I would make Wagashi sweets at Japanse high school”. Life is interesting because unexpected things happen. We take action and challenge many things from now on too!
