The Last Cooking Class Before Going Back to His Hometown

12月18日2年8組パティシエコースで留学生チャーリーのサプライズお別れパーティーがありました。野菜が苦手なチャーリーへの名前入りピザ、先生方特性の唐揚げやティラミスやフィナンシェなど、チャーリーもとても嬉しそうでした。
On December 18th, a surprise farewell party was held for the exchange student Charlie in Class 2-8, Pastry Course. Since Charlie doesn’t like vegetables, a personalized pizza was made for him. The teachers also prepared special fried chicken. He and his classmates made tiramisu and financiers. Charlie seemed very happy.
クラス代表の生徒や先生方、同じ留学生のマーリーやアレックスからもメッセージが…まだ帰りたくない、本当にパティシエコースに来て良かったとチャーリー。最後には全員で記念写真を撮りました。
Messages were also shared by the class representatives, teachers, and fellow exchange students Marley and Alex. Charlie expressed that he didn’t want to leave yet and that he was really glad to have joined the Pastry Course. At the end, everyone took a commemorative photo together.
そして、スポーツ留学生の２名も入学して８ヶ月が経ちました。始めは全く話せなかった日本語が今ではたくさん話せるようになり、成長を感じています。その裏には本人たちの努力がありますので少しだけご紹介します！
Eight months have passed since two sports international students enrolled. At first, they couldn’t speak any Japanese, but now they are able to speak a lot, and I can see their growth. Behind this progress is their own hard work, so I’d like to briefly introduce them!
これは担任と一緒に漢字の練習をしている所です！今は季節の種類と感謝の言葉を学習しているようで、楽しく学んでいます！ますますこれから伸びる日本語力に期待しています！
This is where they are practicing kanji with their homeroom teacher! It seems they are currently learning about different seasons and words of gratitude, and they are enjoying their studies. I’m looking forward to their growing Japanese skills in the future!
