交流会では、自己紹介や質問タイムに加え、慶誠高校の生徒たちによる日本や熊本（食べ物、文化、習慣など）に関するプレゼンテーションが行われました。一方、グランツパス高校の生徒たちは、オレゴン州や自分たちの学校について紹介してくれました。クラスによっては、伝言ゲームや椅子取りゲームなどのアクティビティを楽しむ姿も見られました。
最初はお互いに緊張している様子でしたが、次第に相手の話に耳を傾け、しっかりとコミュニケーションを取ることができました。「次はみんながグランツパスに来る番だよ！」と約束する場面もありました。言葉の壁があっても、笑顔と心があれば人と人とはつながることができるんだと、再確認できた貴重な時間となりました。グランツパスのみなさん、ありがとうございました！また交流できる日を楽しみにしています！！！
At the exchange event, we had self-introductions and a Q&A session. Keisei High School students gave presentations about Japan and Kumamoto (food, culture, customs, etc.), while students from Grants Pass High School introduced Oregon and their school. Some classes also enjoyed activities like the telephone game and musical chairs. Everyone seemed a bit nervous initially, but they soon began listening attentively and communicating effectively. There were even moments when students promised, “Next time, it’s your turn to come to Grants Pass!” This experience reaffirmed that, despite language barriers, people can connect through smiles and genuine feelings. It was a valuable time that showed the power of human connection. Thank you very much for spending a wonderful time with us! Hope we can see each other soon, again!
